Why The T-Tapp System Works So Well & Dietary Guidelines
April 26, 1999
After receiving several testimonial success stories along with reactions of “amazement” as to why the T-Tapp System works so well compared to all other workouts to-date, I though this weeks tip should explain the reasons why. Education is the key to success; better results occur when you understand how the body works as a machine. Here are two examples/testimonials:
”I ordered the T-Tapp system and am doing well with it. I am especially pleased with the rapid disappearance of “pudge” around the bra strap area. I’ve always been very fitness conscious and willing to put in the necessary effort to stay in shape. I ordered this program because I was finding that the enormous selection of disciplines I was using was failing to prevent some “spread”. I have no emotional issues about my age (42), but I definitely don’t want to look dumpy! I’m not sure why this works so much better than other strenuous training, but I am definitely seeing an improvement. Thanks for everything.”

“I travel all the time between Plano, Texas and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and work with several physicians. I used to teach aerobics for over 20 years and I must admit that the T-Tapp Total System has given me better results than any other workout and I’ve done them or taught them all! I just turned 46 and my body is in the best shape ever, yet I don’t have to work so hard to maintain it. Last week one of my physician clients tried to fix me up with his 30-year-old son. What a great 46th birthday present! Thank you, Teresa, you have definitely created a revolutionary breakthrough for women’s fitness and I am forever grateful.“

First of all, when I developed my workout, I developed a program that rebuilds the lymphatic system and resting rate of glucose utilization via the Krebs cycle. As the body ages not only do we atrophy inside out (muscle tissue), but our elimination systems also begin to slow down. Muscle tissue uses glucose/glycogen at a resting rate to maintain basic functions (i.e.: breathing, maintaining upright position against gravity and balance). When we are young everything works great (think about all the crap we use to eat!), but the natural aging process changes how the body processes and eliminates food. Along with body changes, most of us become less active as we get older. Therefore when we become less active our glucose reserves build up. Then when we eat our fat free pasta, bread and pretzels (which convert to glucose) our body’s reserves are already full so the body converts the glucose to fat and stores it in our fat cells. When our fat cells are full our body creates more fat cells. Unfortunately, once fat cells are created, they are either full or empty - but they never go away. So the cycle begins with simple carbohydrate conversion to fat even when the carbs are fat free. Furthermore, sugar (sucrose) stimulates our pancreas to produce insulin (which is our fat producing hormone). However a high protein/low carb or no carb diet is NOT the answer! I like to follow the John Hopkins clinical research that proved the body needs 55% carbs or women will lose bone density. I personally try to maintain 55% carbs, 30% protein, and 15% fat. I like to use the analogy about putting a child into a germ free environment to prevent illness. As soon as you expose that child to “germs”, he/she will get sick because the immune system has not been built. The same applies for totally eliminating carbs from our diet. As soon as you add them back to your food intake, you’ll gain weight. The secret is not to eliminate carbs, but to rebuild how the body uses glucose at a resting rate.
That’s why I suggest everyone to do the Primary Back Stretch before any type of activity. Your body will be into fat burning stage faster and you will get quicker results (even with your housework). Not only does the Primary Back Stretch open the neuro-kinetic pathway, but it also uses up the glucose reserves within 5-7 minutes. This is a physiological breakthrough because standard muscle activity takes an average of 20 minutes before the muscles start to use fat as fuel. For clear understanding, the Primary Back Stretch includes everything up to, but not including the Pliés. The “head rolls/rocks” and “arm pumps” are important for lymphatic stimulation and elimination. The T-Tapp Workout is not just a calorie burning/fat-burning workout; it is much, much more. It rebuilds Krebs cycle, Citric Acid cycle, Lymphatic System, and bio-chemically balances the hormones too. Last of all, it also uses the muscles layer by layer in a systematic matter with comprehensive groupings both isometrically and aerobically (without impact). Key to success is that I developed the muscle sequential movements utilizing both insertions of the muscles. Most exercise movements only use one insertion and the belly of the muscle. This is also why the T-Tapp Workout gets inch loss fast and gives the body long, lean cut muscles (even if you are muscle bound with bulky muscles from a lot of step aerobics or weight training). I’ve had to breakdown a lot of bulky thighs and hips from improper training techniques! At least there is a way to reverse it!
In conclusion, you don’t want to eat only protein because the body needs carbohydrates for energy. The body can use protein for energy if necessary (when deprived of carbs), but it results with breakdown of tissue. Protein is needed to build and repair tissue. When you eat a balanced diet, you give the body its necessary components (protein, carbs and fats) to build, repair and eliminate. I could get even more detailed, but I’ve run out of time and I haven’t even discussed why the CRT Cellulite Removal and Skin Tightening System works so well and adds benefit to the T-Tapp Workout. Maybe next week I’ll discuss it. Hopefully now you understand why the T-Tapp works so well and why, after you rebuild the “machine” and achieve your goal, you only have to workout once or twice a week to maintain the results. AND best of all… you can eat without guilt and never have to diet or deprive yourself again. Life is too short to not enjoy good food!
Until next week…
