Have you ever tried something new and felt intimidated because it was challenging and you weren't sure how to wrap your head around it? I definitely have.

Being on the other end of the phone, I hear people voice their concern about having "perfect form" all the time. I understand the sentiment. T-Tapp is a constant challenge to me and there have been some definite times in my T-Tapp career where I have felt like I would NEVER "feel the heat" in a particular area of my body no matter how hard I tried.

PRACTICE makes PERFECT. CONSISTENCY is the KEY. Don't give up on T-Tapp just because you feel like you will never "get" it. After months of trying, I will have an "ah-ha" moment and the form blocks in my head will all come together. I will feel the heat when and where I am supposed to feel it during a move after working hard to think and activate my muscles. THAT is when the magic happens and then inches start rolling off.

If you are a person that sometimes feels like you are never going to get it... a great tool that I like to use to keep myself motivated is this fantastic video from T-Tapp Trainer Renee McLaughlin.

Share with your friends and Happy T-Tapping!

I can get stuck in analysis paralysis too often... Thinking something has to be "just so" before I can proceed. I've come a long way in getting over that. But, I can still have a tendency to want to wait until I can do something "perfectly" before I start, or take the next step. This is a great reminder. :-)

Vanetta, T-Tapp and life, they both are not a spectator's sport, and practice makes perfect.
