Hi everyone,
I am new to T-Tapp. I bought the book about 3 months ago and read it and TRIED to do the exercises! Clearly, I'm a visual learner! I bought the 15 Min video and did the instructionals for about 2 weeks and then had a minor health scare, so backed off.
I did the 15 Min one today, the non-instructional one and it was good!
My question is - Is it possible to see results without doing the workout perfectly? I am doing my best to remember to keep things tucked and tight etc. but I always have something out of place! I would like to hear from others who started out not perfectly but saw results regardless as they got better. Or, should I be going back to do the instructional until I'm PERFECT??
Thanks in advance,
Andrea

Welcome to T-Tapp, Andrea!
No, you do not have to be perfect--none of us really are! Form is a progression--I started with only the book (yeah, it took 1 1/2 hours to do the "15 minute" workout! LOL!), and still saw some results!
As you continue on things will make more sense, too, and although it doesn't get easier in the sense of "easy to do" it will get easier in the sense of "ah, that's what she means"! :)
Revisit the Instructional from time to time (every 6-8 weeks is great, but at least every 2-3 months). And stick around here--there is a wealth of info and encouragement on these forums!
HUGS!

Hi Andrea,
Welcome.
There is no need to be perfect, just try your best everyday. My little sister did BWO+ only (5-6 days a week) and lost 4 sizes (like 12-15 months). It is possible to lose with very poor form.
If you have health issue, like adrenal fatigue or hormonal issues, then you will want to make sure your form is more good than bad, especially for alignment. You might not be able to do as much workout with health issues, so you will pay attention to the quality.
Working out with a mirror or video yourself periodically to compare form will good to correct your own form the best your can. If you have questions, come to the forum.

Yes, you can achieve results without "perfect" form. Not sure there is such a thing as "perfect form", he he. We are always working on form :) Using a mirror is very helpful. And you always want to go back and revisit the instructionals from time to time, you'll hear things that you might have missed the time before.

Welcome, Andrea! And I'm with everyone else...no one is perfectly perfect! We all try to go to OUR max 'cause no one is perfect.....just Teresa! LOL!

Hi, I am new to T tapp and have worked at the 15 min instruction for two or more weeks, with a few days in between. Anyway I did both instructional 1 and 2 DVD's yesterday and today, and wow what a workout! Doing this for 4 days is called Boot camp? I will do day 3 tomorrow, but Thursday will be off with being out! Looking for support and accountability. I like the concept and being at home and not an all day work to death work out. Or at least dragging by the time I am finished. I really like the Hoe downs and do them several times a day.
I like Elizabeth Elliot too Abbie. I am 61 and pretty active and have always tried new work outs and the gym etc. But this is what I have been looking for for a long time! Great to hear from others and their journey. Have a good day!

Thanks everyone. I'm glad to know no one thinks that perfection is the ultimate goal here. I did the video again today, without perfection and felt good afterwards. I am hoping that this really is as good as advertised!
