Question/prayer request

Hi, all!

My son had a splendid spring break. Unfortunately he came back with a bacterial AND viral infection which mimicked meningitis (we went to the ER Sunday night to rule that out, with bloodwork, a CT scan, and a spinal tap--which is how I know he has both viral and bacterial infection). He has been slow to recover from this onset. Unless he is lying down, he has headaches which peppermint oil and ibuprofin don't take care of. Will you pray for him to get better? Could the headaches be related to the spinal tap???

Ayj, do you have a favorite type of OoO? There's so much stuff out there about needing to be sure oils are pure....

Hi Brooke,
I have prayed for your son's healing. Headaches certainly can be experienced after a spinal tap. I don't know whether what you are describing is from his having had the spinal tap or not.

If your son is doing a lot of resting, he could listen to a series on healing by Brother Kenneth Copeland, which is available free if one listens via the web. Praying for your son, Brooke. And for wisdom for you as well. Did he have the headaches before the spinal? If not, then they're probably linked.

OoO, North American Herbs and Spice is the gold standard, but that costs so much. I order straight oil and dilute with EVOO from online place like JCrowsMarketplace (East Coast) or MountainRoseHerb (West Coast). Any herb and essential oil place you can trust their purity and practice will do.

Oil is hot to the tongue, you can dilute a lot and just take more, otherwise, you need to fill in capsules, or just get the capsules from health food store, but not sure about the purity and the dosage they had in there...

and yes, I would think the headaches could be related to the spinal tap. Keep speaking truth and positive and healing things! :)

Thank you, all! I appreciate the links, hugs, and all the prayers and support, very much! I have VERY healthy kids for the most part, so it's always a bit unsettling (!) when one of them gets sick and stays sick for more than a day or two.

Vi, I will see if he is willing to listen to your suggested video links. You're a sweetie to bring these truth-speaking videos to mind! I haven't heard this series yet, and hope to have an opportunity to do so soon.

He is like a new kid. No headache, no stiffness in the neck. He still has congestion in his nose, so I will continue giving him OoO as long as he'll let me, just to continue the upward trend! :)

Thank you, thank you! My DS went to school today, and has been head-ache free since about 3:00 yesterday. HUGE change in a SHORT time! He is still congested, so I suspect sinus issues. He will continue taking OoO until the congestion clears completely. I am so very thankful for each of you, your choice to respond with concern and support. What a gift you gave me!!!
