Are you friends with Teresa Tapp (https://www.facebook.com/teresatapp) on Facebook? SERIOUSLY you should be! The amount of things that she posts daily ranges from inspirational to just down right interesting.

However, there is one thing that she posted recently that she has been talking for years: THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF ALMONDS.

Eating raw nuts is so important, but most people don't realize why and therefore, don't make it a priority in their diet.

Check out this awesome article to learn the importance of raw almonds and why they should be a part of your daily calorie intake:

Thank you,

I didn't know almonds had folic acid!

I love this older post of Teresa's in the newsletter archives about Almonds, too

The thing "I" find frustrating is that it is VERY hard to find truly RAW almonds. They are pasturized now, even if the package says "raw". How you can know for certain is to try sprouting them. If they don't sprout, they aren't raw. :-(

I just bought a big bag of almonds last night. I find that eating them for breakfast cuts down on hunger all day long. I ate mine with a banana. Actually 1/2 serving of almonds and then had the other half later. I just like them! Who knew!

I also abhor FB. I was forced to get an account so I could be an admin on our business account. But I don't post much of anything on my personal side.

I love them even more since we started soaking them and dehydrating them--not so hard on the teeth and easier to digest! I wasn't too sure about it until we needed to do this for a way of eating we started for our 2 dds with leaky gut syndrome. I was amazed at how good they tasted and I can tell I digest them better, too! :)
