Prayer Request For My Dad

My Mom and Dad went up to Tucson earlier today for y Dad's Docters appointment. He recently got a CAT scan done to see his Lymphnodes and figure if it is time again to start another round of Chemo, He has Lymphoma.He thinks he'll have to start again because he can feel his swollen Lymphnodes all over his body. But the Dr. is goig to try to administer some sort of Chemo pill so he won't have to make a 4 hour drive round trip every Friday and so that my Dad might be able to keep his hair.

This of course weighs heavily on all our minds and hearts. This will be his 7th or 8th year having lymphoma and it gets really hard sometimes. We would just like God to heal him once and for all....but we know that his like is in God's hands.

So, I am asking fo everyone to pray for us as we go through this again. And to pray that the Lord will comfort my Daddy. He has accepted that this is the life that Lord has chosen for him and he has to make the best of it. But I know that he must feel so depressed when he wakes up and finds handfuls of his hair on his pillow, falling out from the Chemo. And pray that we as his family will be able to encourage him and trust that God is doing this for a purpose.

An excellent book on God's will for healing that I just finished reading and am immediately reading again is "His Healing Power" by Lilian B. Yeomans, M.D. It is actually four books of her books published together. The author is a physician who was delivered in 1898 and spent the remainder of her life witnessing about her healing.
