In the older forum there was an option to choose the time as of which you want to see new/unread posts. I cannot figure it out if the same option exists now.
It was so convenient as at times you don't really have time to read most of the new posts and want to come back and go through them later but then it is difficult to see what was new, say, over the past week or so.
