Hi... I'm brand new here. My first post ever!
I found out about T-tapp through Mary Shoman's thyroid blog on about.com. I just started a few weeks ago doing the BWO+ DVD and yesterday I did the TWO DVD & it feels great to work out. T-tapp is currently the only exercise I can do due to joint pain and problems I have from radiation.
I had thyroid cancer and radiation last summer. It really wrecked my metabolism and I'm still healing up from it. Lots of issues like carpal tunnel syndrome, water retention, damaged salivary glands, creaky joints.... ugh!
I have done t-tapp for a few weeks and haven't seen any actual inch lost, but I do feel better. I assume that eventually I will lose some inches!
Is anyone else here a thyroid cancer survivor? Just curious! THANKS, ladies

Hello, Anna! Welcome to the boards. I'll add you to my prayers for continued healing. I've not had thyroid cancer but I do battle with hypothyroidism and it a battle indeed.
I seem to lose slowly most of the time but I also feel the healing and my muscles are so much more obvious than they were last year at this time. Good luck and welcome to the world of t-tapp.
Welcome! :hello2: So glad you found T-Tapp! Mary is SO wonderful and so knowledgeable! We were blessed to have her as a speaker at the T-Tapp retreat. We are excited about her new book featuring T-Tapp!
How long did you do the instructionals? You may want to consider returning to them for a bit. Form is important in T-Tapp and the instructionals can help. A workshop is always incredible too if you're able. Also wondering about your joint pain. Check out the MORE dvd. It is rehabilitative and helps with overcoming health issues.
There are thyroid cancer survivors who will pop on. I have a thryoid condition that so far am able to keep in order and off medications with T-Tapp.

BlessedMama, THANKS for the quick reply.....yes, I'm from Indiana, too. Hi! PS: My mom has 9 kids, too!
gunnersmom, THANKS for the encouragement. Thyroid issues are tough. I feel like I have to work out ten times harder than people with thyroids to get the same results, but thank God I'm alive and well. It sure could've been worse. The cancer was caught early. Thanks for the prayers. That is so lovely of you.
jen6, THANKS for your reply, too! I just bought the big starter package with BWO+, TWO, etc. etc... and I may get that MORE DVD, too that you suggested. That would be good for the joint pain.

Hey, that happens to us all the time! :)
When you go in to edit your post there is a delete button. When you hit save, it won't seem to have worked, but it usually has!
Good to see another fellow Hoosier here! How neat you come from a family of 9 kids, too! I was an only for 11 years and just have my "little brother" (who is a foot taller than me and weighs more than me now! LOL!) It's riot around here most of the time! We love it! :D
