Does anyone know of a good resource to educate myself on this topic?

Also, I'd love to have a better understanding about getting rid of lactic acid that Teresa talks about during the workouts.

I've been exercising regularly for years (16 at least) and don't remember reading about these things. Maybe I'm just getting old and forgetful?

Not sure if you bought the Total System or any of the CRT things. Also, there was a CD for The Truth of Cellulite.

I think T talks a lot about the lymph, and the only way to pump it is by moving. Every time you tap the foot. She mentioned that people in the hospital which cannot move, the nurse would come every few hours to move the limbs to try pump the lymph.

Latic Acid is what you build up whenever you use your muscle and exercise. If a lot of it is built up, you become very sore the next few days. I know every well, when I was 13-16, I did track and field. I am not practicing everyday, it was Tuesday and Thursday, boy, don't I feel it on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Cannot even walk downstairs without feeling my muscle so sore that my legs are going give way.

Now, all T's not exerting moves, like the stretching, the pat your own back, the kick kick lift, the shoulder roll, the head rocks, there are removing the lactic acid. Therefore, you do know that you are sore in the morning the next day, but it never affects you after you get up. Never so sore that you are reminded on every move the next 2 days after you exercise.

I know, as I did the whole exercise from beginning to end, but my mother's caregiver was doing the moves with me, a lot of the time she will stop before the stretching or kick kick to tend for my mother, she told me she was so sore that she could not sleep.

Now, for outside resources, I don't know. You might need to look up sport medicine or phyiscal therapy type of books.

These are my favorite reference books for lymph. Dr. Chikly also sells Lymph dissection DVD's on his site at The Chikly Institute.
