Well, I am approaching my 2 week mark with T-Tapp! I have achieved some inch loss...hooray!...but there are some other benefits that are just as important to me.
For one, I am an O blood type and have struggled with "elimination" for a couple years. It is not unusual for me to only have a BM every 2 or 3 days. I actually spent about 5 months of last year having every test in the book done starting with a colonoscopy and going from there. The docs couldn't find anything wrong and the only advice I got was "eat more fiber". Well, when taking Metamucel twice a day and eating fiber bars in between doesn't get you "moving", you start to feel like nothing will. I fully suspected this was the reason for my cellulite and my inability to loose weight. I mean, if you aren't getting rid of stuff, it has to be making you whole system toxic, right?! So I am happy to report that between the exercises, brushing, Fibertox and alfalfa, I am seeing a great improvement in this area!!! It is sort of sad when I am ridiculously happy over being able to poop every day! ;)
The second benefit I am noticing is less swelling in my hands and feet. For the last couple years, during the hot summer months, my extremeties retain so much water that I had begun to take water pills to help keep me comfortable. The same happens during my period. Now when my hands even start to swell, I do the move from Broom where Teresa shows you walking in place and alternately closing your hands and then opening them really wide (Jazz hands) while your arms swing. If that doesn't seem to take care of it completely, I go brush. And by evening, I can still get my rings off! A huge, huge step for me when it is hot and muggy.
So yeah, inch loss is awesome, but I'm loving the other improvements just as much!
