I have completed day 4 of BWO+, but I had to use the instructional. Does this count as boot camp or should I wait until I can do it without instructional to count days? I would like to drop 1 size. (two would be even better) What is the appropriate workout schedule? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Welcome! :hello2:
Congratulations! You just completed 4 days of a bootcamp! :clappinghands: Yes, the instructionals certainly DO count! In fact, when going slower, you can concentrate on major muscle activation and get even more of a workout!
A bootcamp is 4-14 days and you can continue to use the instructionals. Form is really important so stick with them until you feel you really have it down. Tune into your body and you'll know when to take a day off for rest. After the bootcamp, you'll want to take at least one day off a week. Any other ?'s, just ask.
Keep us posted on your successess!

If you are feeling good and want to continue with the instructionals for a few more days, you could say that you are still doing a bootcamp. If you feel in need of a break at this point, then you've done a 4 day bootcamp. Take a day or two of rest and then you could go to Every Other Day (EOD) continuing with the instructions. They are so GREAT for helping us get and maintain that Mind to Body connection. At some point then, you could do the regular workout EOD (or every day if you want).
Listen to your body and be consistent and you will see results.
(I'm not speaking as a trainer....Jen already did a great job of doing that. I just thought further discussion might help you in your decision making.)

Thanks a lot ladies! I'm glad to hear I'm doing ok. I woke up this am and was horrified because my pants are so tight at my waist. My waistline is actually higher and wider?! :thinkingabout: Not exactly what I'm going for . . .

Give it a few days of rest--often you retain water during a booycamp, plus sometimes the fat moves up before it moves out!
Congratulations on finishing your bootcamp! :balloon:
