Hello everyone!!

So this past week I did my first Tempo Lower Body workout. I didn't attempt to do both standing and the floor right away, but I'm sure I'll get there soon. The good news is, I LOVED THIS WORKOUT!! It was VERY helpful that I have been doing the Total Workout now for awhile, because many of the moves in the first 30 min (standing) were from that workout...just faster and no breaks! It was amazing how much more cardio I did by not having to skip the water breaks and the resting in the Total Workout rehab.

Then I did the second 30 min (on the floor), which I loved as well. It was my first time to do Diva Derriere...and WOW did that KILL ME!!! I thought it was funny that I could barley do that part. But, I'm glad for the new challenge and know I will master it soon. :o

I do have a couple of questions though:

First of all, what is the significance of the 'pushing organs in' part? I find this a little difficult, because my stomach muscles are already flexed...so I have to try really hard to un-flex them and the re-flex them. I notice that they do this also in the total workout during the 'Box' exercise, except it's while standing.

Second of all: these are the workouts that I currently own:
Total Workout @ Beginner Rehab Level
Temp Lower Body 3

I know I need to own A LOT of workouts before I become a trainer, so does anyone have a suggestion on what I should try to go for next? I'm pretty tight on money seeing as though I'm still in college (though I will graduate in MAY!!), so I have to go slow and build my collection. So...let me know what you think!! :help:

Anyway, I'm happy to add a new workout to my week, and I hope to be seeing a bit more inch loss in my lower half soon. It seems that fat likes to 'stick' there...lol.

But guess what?! Today I did the Total Workout from memory, and I think I only forgot one part - the lunges!! Anyway, that is exciting and I'm thinking I might try to start doing it by memory every other time I do it.

Well, I hope you all have a great week, and thanks so much for your help!

In Him,

Best recommendation for you is to read and re-read the Must Read Threads in the general section of the forum. You'll find your answer to your question about OIP AND if you are planning to aim toward becoming a trainer, this will be essential to have read. :)

That's great that you have it memorized! Do you have the audio cd?

You might want to get Hit The Floor next. It is the precurser to

Tempo Lower Body and will give you a better feel for Organs in Place,

and many other moves, in my opinion. It is a super floor workout,

especially when you don't have it in you to do DD, LOL!

No I don't have an audio CD...should I have one?

I will be sure and go read those threads, I'm sure they are helpful!

And thanks, Lori for the tip on what to get next...that sounds good to me! :oD

LOVED the wedding video, Rachel--GORGEOUS!! And I recognized most of the wedding party, the pastor, several guests--and the hairdresser is married to my nephew.:D

I second the HTF recommendation. It has a good explanation of OIP and it is the place to start for floorwork. Don't raise your buns off the floor too far when you are doing OIP because your muscles will tighten. Abs should be relaxed when you are shifting things around with your hands.

Thank you all! The wedding was the very best day of my life, hands down. And we were and ARE still SO happy and joyful that we serve a God so good that he brought two imperfect lives together to help each other out on this amazing journey. :o) Charlotte, I'm not surprised you knew so many people...I love Kim! She was so sweet to come and do hair for us (though I ended up letting my twin sister do mine!).

I'll work on getting the Hit The Floor workouts, they sound like fun!

Thanks again!

PS
Johanne - i cried the first time i saw our video...and I've cried pretty much every time since! Jonathan Meisner did a GREAT job on the video, I really feel like he captured the wedding well! We were his very first wedding to do...but I don't think he showed it at ALL!

Well Congrats him for the job he did. He captured what was there, don't forget. You cannot show love, life, joy, happiness... but profound ones, not just for the occasion, if there are none in the place. You know what I mean?

Yes.. you don't know me. I'm the one who see these things and tell people about. I can feel when it's real rather then artificial.

This video could have been about painting the house, that I would have felt the same emotions. YOU are with Andy and yours, very lucky to have each other and to let all that love flow in you.

Thank you, for sharing such a wonderful and touching moment.
I feel all of what it's there.
