I am very new to T-tapp. Do any of the trainers do events in Colorado? Are there any trainers in Denver? Thanks from TJEcan

There is a trainer in the Denver area (Brighton), Bekki Johnson (http://http://www.t-tapp.com/trainers/bekkijohnson/index.html). I went to a clinic of hers in June, 2008. I saw one advertised for this past December; however I didn't go because that time of year, you never know what the weather's going to be like. I don't know when Bekki's next clinic is; perhaps she'll see this thread and let us know.
I believe Kirsten, "the travelling T-Tapp trainer from Texas," has come to the Colorado Springs area before (I didn't make it to that one, either; hard to justify such a long drive for me).
FYI, this page lists all the T-Tapp trainers by state: Meet the Trainers (http://www.t-tapp.com/team/trainers.html)

Thanks for the info. I did find the link to trainers after I posted this. It is good to know that she is still active. I am just starting so I am no where near being able to do much yet. I am teaching myself from the book till I get my dvds. I am already feeling changes so I am very excited. I do not have a thyroid so I am on full replacement. I have tried so many exercise programs since my diagnosis of graves disease and nothing has worked for me. I have always exercised and enjoyed it so this has been very frustrating to me. I love that I can already feel that I am gaining strength with just the little I have done so far! TJEcan

I am also in CO and just got my DVDs yesterday. I attempted to learn a few moves last night and worked out for the first time this morning. Wow - can I feel it! I haven't done any exercise of any kind in a VERY long time. I would also love to attend a live event in the Denver area.

We will have to stay in touch. Looks like we are in about the same place! Terry/TJEcan

Yes, do contact Bekki. And, I also come to the Denver area at least 2x/year (DH's family is in the area). If you have a group that you can get together, I'd be happy to meet with you all.

Thanks Kirsten! I am so new, and it sounds like Terry is too, that I have no idea who else is out there in CO. But as I find my way around here and get to know more people, I will DEFINATELY keep that in mind.
Terry - I would love to keep in touch with you since we are both in CO (I'm in Parker) and we are both starting at the same time! I'm not sure how to do that yet - but I'm sure there is a way. I need to spend more time on the forums to figure it all out. Today was my first post.

Hi Terry and Wendy,
As you can see (on the upper right of my posts), I'm in Fort Collins. Not that far from Denver, but a bit far in the winter when the weather is iffy, if you know what I mean.
On these boards I've "met" T-Tappers in Greeley, Loveland ("Excelsior"), Durango ("Rachelle"), and LaJunta (KatieB); I'm sure there are others. I think there were around 12 women at the workshop I attended (June 2008), mostly in the Denver area (one gal came from out near Fort Morgan).

Thanks for all the responses. I think it would be great to get together. I think I want to get started a bit first so that I have learned a core group of exercises and build a little strength. It looks like there are quite a few of us in Colorado! Terry

Thanks Kirsten! We will all keep you posted! Terry
:hello2: Are you ladies near Colorado Springs? My cousin lives there and wants me to come out and do a clinic. We are thinking late May or June. Anybody up for it?

I would be interested and can make it to CO Springs quite easily. Please keep me updated if you decide to schedule a visit.

I live in south Denver so I can do the Springs. I think one of our other Tappers in this area is farther north and the Springs would be hard for her. I am still waiting for my DVDs so I am just doing a few exercises from the book, OIP and attempting to do hoe downs.

I fell off the T-Tapp wagon last summer and am going to get started again this week. Figure I am off next week for spring break and it is time to start taking care of myself again.
I would also be interested in any T-Tapp event in Denver or Colorado Springs!

Hello all! I know this is an older thread but I would be VERY interested in the Colorado Springs area. Would have a few people with me too who could go as well! I'm new to T-Tapp and would LOVE an instructional type of environment/class to learn from. :)
