Right now I'm doing the BWO...just starting. I've also been doing HD's, OIP and HF each day.
I'm wondering if I should do HD's before I do BWO??
My thought was that if I used up all that glucose before I started the workout that the workout itself would then end up using more fat for fuel...which I have plenty of ;o)
Does this make any sense? Is there a benefit to doing HD's before or after? I'd just like to make sure I'm getting the most bang for my tapping toe lol

I'm not a trainer, but believe me, Teresa has designed the workout with the order of moves for a reason--you will definitely burn fat with BWO+ without adding HDs at the beginning!
Are you starting with the Instuctional? That is really where you should start for a week or two. You can just add HDs at the end (the Instructional doesn't have HDs at the end, if I remember correctly!).
Welcome to T-Tapp!

Hi Trisch :o)
I did the instructional #1 several times before trying the BWO. Right now I'm planning to go back and forth between the two. Reallllly focus on form for a day and then apply that form even more during the workout the next day. That way it seems like mixing it up some...even though it's the same workout ;o) I plan to do BWO for at least a month before even attempting instructional #2.
I admit I have a secret motive between wanting to burn the most possible....my step daughter is graduating in June and we're going to Myrtle Beach, SC for the ceremony. I get to spend HOURS with the inlaws and exwife...and it's going to be hot hot hot. :? I know it's a vain reason to want to lose right now, and it's certainly not the only one!!! but it's also highly motivating ;o) lol That's why I was wondering if doing the HD's before could make any difference. :o)

Good girl doing the instructional first! Sounds like you have a plan! ;)
And hey--whatever it takes for motivation, right?!
I would focus on the workout, and add HDs in after you eat. That way you are getting max benefit from them!
A trainer will probably see this tomorrow and can give better advice! I just know *I* would be pooped doing a HD first! LOLOL!
And you can do OIP/HF twice a day--I do a set before my workout and a set before bed (when gravity can help keep it all in place! :D )
Consistency is your best bet! Proper form and pushing to your personal max are important, too, but consistency is #1, in my book!
Best wishes! Keep coming here for support, encouragement, clarifications and to share your successes!

One of the benefits of Primary Back Stretch is that it gets your body into fat-burning mode in half the time of other exercise, so save those extra HoeDowns for after meals.
And "event goals" can be very motivating, so take advantage and set your sights!

Well I did something I NEVER do...I bought a pair of capris that do NOT fit. I never would allow myself to buy something in the "hope" that I'd get into someday. I am feeling so confident not only in T-Tapp, but in my ability to consistantly do it that I went ahead and broke my own rule. Now it wasn't a HUGE splurge...they were $3 at Goodwill ;) but still...it's the principal of it!
I want to at least be able to wear them to the beach in June...or better yet be in them and already out of them into a size smaller!!!
Thank you for the advice. I'll OIP and HF morning and night, HD after meals, and we Tapp mid afternoon when the baby goes down for her nap.

Oh Bing---that sounds perfect!!! Keep it short, keep it simple! You will be able to be consistent and I'm SURE you will see movement!

Talking about doing extra HDs made me think about the fact that Esther suggests adding multiple single sets of HDs amongst the other moves in TWO. I think I saw it on her profile or maybe her website, if she has one? Don't quite remember.... What do you ladies think of doing that? Would definitely bump up the cardio! Makes me tired just thinking about it, though!:sleeppillow:

She might be referring to Lannette's KILLER version of BWO+! I could only do this for every two moves!
