I still consider myself a newbie, so I will post this here.
Since my sinus infection diagnosed on the 18th of January, I have had more and more problems. They found that my liver enzymes were elevated, and one doc even suggested that I should not take the alfalfa anymore in case it was being metabolized by my liver:thinkingabout:
I have had more blood work and an abdominal u/s, and am waiting for the results.
NOW, I have been seriously fatigued and have symptoms that seem like I've developed serious IBS or ulcerative colitis, or something like that.
I'm so frustrated and upset. Everything is falling apart. My housework, work and T-Tapp.
I am going to try to get back on the wagon with TTAPP chair. Maybe just work my way back up.
I was feeling so good and could tell I was getting toned. UGH I feel like a slug and all I want to do is sleep.
I can't even do PBS because by back muscles are so sore from having the colitis type symptoms. I am going to back to the Dr. tomorrow hopefully.
If I don't eat, I don't seem to have as many problems. I have chosen to fast for Lent anyhow so that should help the problem. I'd like to have a decent night's sleep and not be late for work each day because I'm dragging.
Anyone else have issues like this? I guess I just needed to vent somewhere.
2010 has been an uphill battle more than ever in my life! I'm only 35 and I feel like I'm 85! (And some 85 year old ladies I know are in better shape than me at this point!)

No help for you here, but lots of {{hugs}}. Hopefully you'll be able to get a handle on the health stuff quickly! I'm just finishing a sinus infection - so no wo here either - can't bend over, but I'm with you on starting back with Chair. We'll keep each other motivated.

Maybe I'll get a smidge of energy back just by doing that....I have been watching the Olympics and feeling so low because I look at those dedicated people and I can't even get my butt off the couch I'm so tired!

Hi Nuggan,
First of all big {{{{{hugs}}}}} to you!
I can sort of relate. I had gastro problems back in December-right around Tappy Holidays and just after I ended up with H1N1. Not sure if you know about Tappy Holidays-Lani-one of the wonderful trainers on this site had a program to follow into the holidays to prevent extra bulge from happening. I was tapping more consistently than I had in the past, plus increased veggie take, water and skin brushing. Well, my gastro was so bad, I ended up in emerg and the docs thought I was having a gallstone attack.
When I backed off a bit, I noticed things were much better for me. I eventually thought that maybe I just may be so toxic that the combination of everything was too much for my system. I once had a naturopath say to me that I was the most toxic person he'd seen! Yet, I was a person that ate really healthy, so I'm not sure how that happened.
My abdominal scan showed nothing serious so I really do think that toxins were moving throughout my system. It may be something to think about for you.
I have had to move back very slowly into the program. I just started MORE and really some days I feel like a slug. I do have thyroid issues and I think adrenal ones as well. That draggy, TANK BUTT feeling is really awful and I can relate to that.
Take care Nuggan. I'll be praying for you that your doctors find out what is wrong and you can get back on track with better health.

Have you ever tried cutting out gluten? For healing of serious gastric problems, there is no program better than the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. Here (http://ccccibs.com/) is a link to my favorite cookbook for this program.
Eating a 100% raw diet (within the boundaries of the SCD) has healed almost all of my health issues, including inflammatory bowel disease. I realize that is very extreme, but do try to at least up your intake of raw foods, especially in the form of green smoothies, as they are less irritating to the bowel than whole raw fruits and veggies.
I feel for you. I have been where you are and hope you find some answers soon. I have had some elevated liver enzymes as well as low protein levels, and the reason did seem to be my inflammatory bowel disease. Now that that is gone, all my levels are normal.

UPDATE: I am MUCH better. After all these dr's visits, lab work and ultra sound, it appears I just had a nasty lower GI infection.
My DH is still VERY sick and we are in limbo with his Dr. (still waiting for a surgical consult and a CT scan).
I am almost 100% back on the T Tapp wagon. I don't think I have the stamina for the boot camp - I hope that's ok. But I am doing EOD (MORE M-W-F) the sit down with DH each night (YES! He started doing it last week! YAY!) and on Sat doing a few of the T Tapp CORE moves and rest on Sunday. If you all think that may not be enough, let me know what I can do.
HOWEVER, I can FEEL a difference already.
Oh, and I'm still brushing too, only miss a day here and there and am doing the PBS before brushing.

Nuggan,
I am happy that it just a nasty lower gi infection. Sorry though you got this.. I can tell you that I have collagenous colitis and IBS along with gastritis and some damage around the area where the small colon connects with the stomach. And alfalfa is a god send. Today I am alittle emotional and my colitis loves to kick up with stress or anxiety and I took extra alfalfa and it has calmed down. My gastroenterolgist sorry misspelled, wanted me to take a medication that costs $900 a month. I refused and upped alfalfa. It has helped coupled with lots of water, and a Probiotic to replace good digestive bacteria. I have had colitis and IBS since I was a young teenager and to tell you the truth only alfalfa, water and probiotic has helped. With along with Tapping consistently.
I am glad you found out and you will get the help you need. You can up the alfalfa to help calm the colon down. My doc I am sure doesn't approve of my homepathetic method of treating myself but it works. And is much cheaper than his way.
take care glad you are better.
