My old T-Tapp brush was 6 years old and definitely looking its age. Also, I used the brush in the shower (wet) and that had further softened it.

So I just got a new brush and find that when brushing dry it is scratching my dry skin. UGH. I hesitate to turn it into a wet brush (thought I would tough it out until I didn't mind the dry brush) but now I find I'm not brushing at all.

Any advice?

Thanks,

Pat

Gentle, gentle. Think brushing butterfly wings.

The lymph sits so very close to the surface, it doesn't take much pressure at all.

It will soften really quickly or else your skin will adapt, LOL!

I agree with Lori. Whenever I get a new brush I have to go back to VERY light strokes until my skin and/or brush adjusts. I don't brush lightly all the time because for me personally it feels good but only when I'm breaking a new brush in.
