View Full Version : Is A Bootcamp Mandatory?

Hi All,

My question is - will I still see inch loss and health improvements even if I don't start out with a bootcamp?
Some background:
I started T Tapping last year but was not consistent with it and tried several times to commit but each and every time I was totally wiped out by the bootcamp and had no motivation to keep going. It turns out that I had adrenal fatigue, thyroid issues, estrogen dominance and a variety of other related issues. So the bootcamp was too much for my body. I am now recovering slowly but surely from these health problems and am enjoying having enough energy to get through the day and maybe get a workout it (BWO+). So far, I have been Tapping mostly EOD but sometimes with 2 days off in between. I think my body needs the day off between workouts and that a bootcamp would be counterproductive, as it runs me down. I suspect I am a slow loser (combo body type, I think) and I understand that without the bootcamp it may take even longer to see changes (though not to feel them) but in my opinion it would be better overall to be consistent rather than do a bootcamp and then burn out.

I'm looking forward to hearing any advice or insight you all might have for me. Thanks!

Mmm, Bootcamps don't necessarily work the same for all people! Just work the

instructionals hard and you will have results. I don't think rushing into a BC will

give faster results, than learning the moves really well first, but that's just my opinion.

Doing a BC, burning out and doing nothing, definitely doesn't work! Just keep

working it you're doing great!

I haven't done a boot camp yet and have lost. I usually try to do "something" every day because if I don't, I lose momentum. It sounds to me like you know what will work for your body and are sensitive to that. I think that T-Tapp will bring you what you are looking for! Remember how rehabilitative it is and how it works from the inside out. I think it will help tremendously!

Not mandatory at all. Just work on your consistency and building strength and stamina. Results will come.

AnnClair, this is the first bootcamp I have ever done and I've been tapping since last January. I got consistent with it last May when I entered the 60 Day Challenge but was in no condition to do any type of a boot camp. I did end up losing 29 inches in those two months, though.

The key is to use proper form and be consistent. If you only want to do BWO three time a week, that is fine, but watch yourself in a mirror and really, really work on proper form. You WILL see results.

I second the instructionals advice! Many of us get focused on the bootcamp and then rush on and don't realize that the Instructionals are to establish mind-to-muscle connections as to learn the moves!

I've lost most of my inches through c-o-n-s-i-s-t-e-n-c-y!

Welcome to T-Tapp!
