Hi everyone! My name is Lori. I am a 35 year old homeschooling, homesteading, home-"everything" type of mother who needs to get into SHAPE!!! I have had BWO+ for a couple years now but just never got committed to it. The longest stretch was about 4 weeks. I have a hard time being committed to any sort of regimen but tha tis a heart problem not an excercise problem and one that God is diligently working on wiht me. I think I definiitely have some "focus" issues and part of it is doign too much at one time and not having organization. I am not a born-organized type. Happily, I am working on the root problem by getting scheduled and with that I have been amazed at the changes I am seeing..in the children, the house-work, everything. Now I want to address FITNESS and so I feel I am ready to embark on the t-tapp journey again and STICK WITH IT :) I also have tapp-core and have started my children on it for part of our PE stuff! We do eat well and much of our diet is simple and basic as we grind our own grains, eat unprocessed food as much as possible, etc. I am a part-time veterinarian who works one day a week and we als ohaev a dairy goat farm with 5 dairy girls wp provide us with fresh, yummy milk for us to drink as well as for our small hand-crafted goats' milk soap and hand cream biz.
I am excited to start my fitness journey off by doing the t-tapp 30 day challenge. I have always loved a bit of good, fun competition as I did many sports back in my high school days :)
So with that ,I look forward to connecting with people who share my desires of becoming fit and developing good habits!!
Anyone want to buddy-up with this newbie in Ohio???

Hi, Lori! I'm a homeschooling mama, too! And we have dairy goats, too! Isn't that milk just the BEST?!
On the General Forum there is a thread for the Jumpstart Challenge participants, as well as several threads you can choose for accountability (I'm on the 6 Weeks to a New You one, but there are many good ones to choose from!) There is also the Mommy Fitness Forum where we encourage each other on ALL things Mommy-related! ;)
Good for you for taking time for YOU! It sure helps my sanity-level and overall well-being!
Welcome to T-Tapp!!!

Welcome Lori!! Congratulations on coming back to the program and dedicating time to yourself!
You will find a lot of support here as well as a place to ask any questions that come up.
Listen to your body, be kind in self talk, and enjoy the challenge!!
Be sure to check out The Must Read Threads (http://forum.t-tapp.com/showthread.php?t=57929) - there is a wealth of knowledge (take a bit at a time if it seems overwhelming).

Hi! You sound so very much like me! I don't homeschool, but it's not off the table, and I am a budding homesteader wanting my own goats, while struggling lately with organization and focus. Where about in OH are you? I'm on the NW side of Columbus.
