I am a fairly self-conscious person, so when my husband and I were researching T-Tapp, HE did the exercises (hoe downs and plies) and I watched the screen. Well, today I decided to try hoe downs.

I almost fell over once, my left thigh had a weird pain in it when I was doing the right leg, and I was extremely uncoordinated. LOL! I'm either going to get in shape, or laugh trying!

My almost-2-year-old was copying me, too ... hilarious!

ChickaBoom...too funny! Hoe Downs definitely take some coordination and you'll get there. Make sure you keep your standing knee bent and butt tucked while lifting the other leg.

Wait until you try TTN!

Sounds like the whole family is going to be tappers! :clappinghands:

My husband used to sit and laugh at me and tell me how I wasn't doing it "like her". lol:D

That's when I'd do this Kayla: :behave: (just kidding!)

I lock myself in my bedroom when t-tapping. Otherwise my DH or DS distract me. They seriously have no clue how much concentration these workouts take! I have absolutely zero ability to think about or answer their questions while tapping. :p

Do be careful, Sarah! You might want to be near the bed when you do them at first so you have something soft to land on. It's no fun hurting yourself.

I always make sure I laugh lots when I'm doing hoe downs. Lani is my motivator. I love watching her grinning away on BWO+. When I show it to others, I make sure to laugh with them - which of course makes me bobble. They feel better knowing that its ok to have fun with it. It's a fun move!

My family tried to talk to me at first too. There's no way to carry on a conversation and concentrate on keeping everything tucked and tightned all at the same time. lol

Oh, yeah! My little guys are BANNED from the living room--especially on the flamingo moves!!!

Why is it they want to run in and out and around you when you are doing Balance?! :help:

And why is it the older ones think you can answer questions?! (They've been properly trained now! ;) )

I can picture it now, Trisch... "shhhh, mom's t-tapping! No talking! Write down your thoughts / questions so you remember to tell her when she's done. Shhhhhhhh"
