Just started happening today, and it's absolutely consistent; within a few minutes of using this (and so far only this) forum, FF crashes spectacularly. I'll be lucky if I can post this report. :thinkingabout:

This is happening with no other sites open, two or three concurrent threads open in tabs. I've never had trouble with the forum before, and I can't think of any recent system changes. It's not an emergency for me -- I can go use Safari on my Mac instead -- but it sure is odd and I figured you should know about it.

Thanks -- I appreciate all you do, and I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

The latest version is 3.5.6 and it may fix a bug that causes this. I see snowflakes as I type and there's no slowdown.

I read of some others having problems posting. Wonder if they are Firefox, too? (Maybe a 2N2 'er?)

I use Firefox with XP and haven't experienced any difficulties. I use auto update and have the latest version.

Not crashing for me either. I have noticed though when FF starts to crash they are within 1 day of doing an update.

I have to stick with the 3.0 branch for now -- tiresome compatibility reasons -- but realized I hadn't updated in a while, so I picked up 3.16.

Then I turned off those snowflakes in ABP and now everything's fine, except that I'm missing the pretty falling snow experience.

Thanks, everyone.
