Since there seemed to be lots of good soup suggestions, I thought maybe y'all would have some brown rice suggestions. I just cooked some, and, by itself, it was flat out yucky. I added some salt and pepper which helped a little. But it still needed something, so I went rummaging in the pantry. Ended up tossing in a can of Cajun Veg-All. That improved things quite a bit, but I still think the brown rice will take some getting used to. The texture is odd to me.
What does everyone else do with their brown rice?
