Our new forum allows each of you to customize how you interact with the forum in a myriad of ways!
I see a lot of people who are complaining about various aspects of the forum (beyond the color scheme) and how they see the posts. Guess what?! You have control over that now -- it's not a web master issue anymore!! Isn't that cool. :balloon:
Please take some time to click on the USER CP (User Control Panel) button on the upper left of the toolbar in the forum interface. Then start clicking around and checking things out. You can determine if you want to see posts in a threaded (like an organizational chart) format, if you want oldest or newest posts first...and all kinds of other stuff.
I know we made a big leap in technology and not everyone is super web-savvy, in fact -- even when I tell my technonerd friends what we did when we changed platforms most of them shake their heads and say it can't be done...and then they are in awe that our web master was able to it. It may not seem like such a big deal if you're on the outside looking in -- but trust me, it's huge!
So, it's a learning process for all of us to explore this new, 21st century frontier we now call T-Tapp's home. We've got all kinds of avatars, you have your own personal photo albums, you can control how you interact with the forum, and you can even use spell-check. (I vote yes on this!!!)
Please be patient on some of the more aesthetic things; as I've said, we appreciate your feedback when it's given from a positive and constructive space. Some people have also requested various types of functionality that are great ideas and we are working to incorporate them too. And, as with any new system, there are some niggly bugs here and there which we appreciate you alerting us to so we can stomp 'em out.
While we're getting it all perfected, I encourage you to take some time and get to know the User Control Panel -- I think once you see how much you can do with it, you'll really enjoy how much you can create your own unique version of the T-Tapp Forums.
