Happy New Year to Everyone!
I haven't been to the website in a while due to some health issues I've had to deal with, moving, and just life. I started T-Tapp back in March and was completely bedridden for four years before I started working with
Kiona. I was doing great and took off 44 1/4" in 6 weeks. I was doing great and my pain in my back had decreased tremendously thanks to T-Tapp. I got injured on the job and two surgeons messed up and as a result I've had 15 back surgeries. I originally injured my back stopping a patient from falling at the hospital I worked at back in 1993. I'm still fighting my Worker's Comp case to this day. I have two implanted devices for the pain that are computer chips and that helps. Some of you might have read my post before. I spent a lot of money and bought every exercise program out there only to end up reinjuring myself or not being able to do it at all.

Anyway, I have a nerve root that a doctor crushed when he operated on me and my leg gives out and I have falls. I had a fall and broke my foot back in 2000. Around the middle of last summer I was having such pain in my feet and I didn't know what it was. Then I thought it might be from being back on my feet after being bedridden for the last 4 years. I had gotten two Staph Infections and I almost died when I got the second one back in December of 2006. I found out that my arches had fallen and I'm completely flat footed now. I was in such severe pain that I couldn't workout except a few standing exercises and floor exercises. I had really gotten down mentally because I had come so far so quickly and I couldn't bare another setback! I was crushed!

I kept doing my PBS no matter what because I can't live without that exercise. I kept up a few others but until we found out what was going on I was stuck. I'm so grateful to T-Tapp because I would have gone right back to the size I was when I started. Kiona, my awesome trainer was there to support me and was constantly thinking of me. She helped me not only physically but promised that we would work together to get me back on track. She stuck by me even though I didn't see her as much and was so caring.

I guess what I'm trying to say is even with the setbacks, if we just do what we can without hurting ourselves until we get the green light to get going again. We have to stay positive and T-Tapp continues to amaze me because I know that I will be right back where I want and need to be in no time. I've had and so many other things going on I couldn't do everything I needed to get done especially with moving this past October. Kiona continued to check on me when no one else was around. I feel so blessed to be a part of the T-Tapp Community and I still intend on becoming a trainer.

Also, a special thanks to Lauren for all your kind words and support during this very tough time for me. Thanks for listening and keep up the great work! 2009 is going to be my year I just know it!

Carol: how inspiring. In spite of, in the midst of pain and I'm sure despair at times, your spirit has pushed through. How encouraging your words are. T-tapp works so much deeper then just toning. It helps the body heal itself. I can never say enough good about the people at t-tapp as well.
Thank you for sharing.

Rock On Kiona!!! Carol I'm stunned by the amount of surgeries you've endured. The More workout rehabbed my knee/hip/shoulder so keeping on tapping works. Carol, you are an inspiration.
