View Full Version : Skin Tag Turning Black

When the PAV products were on sale, I purchased the regular PAV and the Skin Tag PAV. However, I went out of town right after the order came in and only took the regular PAV with me, thinking that I would start using the skin tag treatment when I returned home. Well, this particular skin tag is right in line with the elastic band of my bra and the rubbing was unusually irritating (I think the underwire started to pull on it), so I just put on some "regular" PAV and went about my day. It started changing colors within a day or so. I've been home a few days and it's really bugging me. It's real black. So, now that it's black, should I continue to apply the PAV or leave it alone with just a band aid?

Any one that has had experience with skin tags have any suggestions?

I had a tag-like mole in my underarm that I was using Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree soap on, with a bandaid, applying it night and morning, and keeping it covered except for a few hours every day. When it turned black, I kept up with the treatments and it actually just fell off when I was getting dressed one day. I'd say keep it up, and it will probably happen for you the same way. HTH! :D

Sweat may be gross, Sweat may be stinky... But I'd better keep Tappin' or I'll look like a Twinkie!!

Oh, I had one of those too, and it became soooo painful. I applied iodine to it, and it took about 2 or 2-1/2 weeks before it fell off.

What are the PAV products?

Yea, that's what I'm doing. It's just so hard to put a bandaid on it 'cause there's a little one right beside it. So, I have to run the bandaid up & down so that the adhesive isn't on the other tag. I have so many of them. I plan on using the PAV Super Tag-Away on the other ones as soon as this one falls off. Baby steps! It's not terribly painful, but annoying nontheless.

Thanks for sharing.

yep, keep putting on the PAV until it falls off. If it's black, it's got to be close. I had good success on skin tags except for two larger ones which I had removed by a doc.

PAV and the Tag away can be found at natrhealth.com

I believe it works on warts as well.
