For those who do dry skin brushing, what time of day do you do it and how do you fit it in? I am just about ready to try it but I don't know if I can do it before exercise and then shower? Or do you have to do it right before a shower? I know you have to be dry and I am always sweaty before a shower.

Ideally, post-exercise or after PBS. Practically, do it when you'll remember to do it. I do it before bed.

I do mine once daily when I'm in the shower, which is before bed. This is the only time it gets done because it's conveinent for me.

So it is okay when you are sweaty?

I ordered a brush and instructions. Hopefully I'll look better by summer!

I LOVE my CRT burshing! With in jsut a couple of days.... I had NEW HANDS!! NO MORE GRAND~MA HANDS!! [:0];)

In fact... If it were NOT ME ~~ I WOULDN'T BELIEVE IT!! HEE...HEE...:D[^] ....and that is even NOT using any kind of lotion (Gave up on that yrs ago!):(

I brush in AM and again before bed. I "try" to exercise in AM ~~ so I am brushing after I exercise. I brush DRY, not in the shower. I don't worry about my brush being dirty with sweat, as it sits out to "dry" out so to speak and never smells bad.[xx(] :D

I have read where once you get the brush "Wet" it isn't as hard, so I do NOT plan on even washing mine.... I don't care... It is ONLY ME using it! By then I will buy a new one!;)

The main thing IS TO JUST "DO IT"... when ever that may be![8D]

I have another question about brushing. I have been doing it for a few days now. I do it in the AM after exercise and before a shower; I am not usually too sweaty. Now I am wondering if I could do it again before bed without a shower afterward? I am able to do it dry right from the start.

Minnie, I often brush before bed, without showering or using lotion or doing anything afterward other than turning out the light and turning in! Or more accurately, I should say that I often do this in the spring and summer... when it's cold I don't want to stand naked in my chilly bedroom, even for a few minutes. In winter I do my brushing either in the shower or in the bathroom as my shower is heating up.

Absolutely, Tamara. No need to shower afterwards. PBS before hand for *best* results, but antime you can do it *will* have benefits! After you workout before shower, or after PBS before bed, or just before bed, all are good options! Way to go on trying for twice a day!

Thanks! I have been seriously brushing. It is a little rough and ouchy since I am new, but I am enjoying it. My flesh flags seem a little firmer:) but they are a bit sensitive now.

I've been faithfully brushing for a few weeks, now, and I am not noticing a difference in the ugly icky cellulite.... but it SURE DOES FEEL GOOD! - so I'll keep doing it. :D Maybe when I'm T-tapping on a regular basis (I'm going thru physical therapy right now & my PT person doesn't want me to do anything until she gives the OK.... herniated disc... :( ) then my brushing will show more results!
