Since doing TT, there's one side effect I'm not happy with. I'm breaking out more. I have had acne for a long time, going on 20 years here. Any advice?

Lilith, T-Tapp really pumps the lymphatic system. So it is pumping all those bad toxins out. This could be the cause of your acne. ;)

I say hang in there and see what happens. It should clear up!:)

Drink plenty of water! It will help it pass faster;)

This is a really easy and interesting way some have had good luck with in getting rid of acne and other detox symptoms.

Thanks for that. I will try it. I should be drinking more water at bedtime anyhow, that's when I take my Lexapro.

Are you sweating a lot? I found that I was rubbing the sweat off my brow, causing horrible breakout. When I started dabbing off, it no longer clogged pore, less breakouts. I have sensitive skin, so I struggle with breakout anyway.

Taking it one day at a time.

I have read this on here before and it seems to work I know I should do it more as it suppose to be good for everyone and since it is cold now would be better
but drink Hot water at night before bed or sip it
it really is not that hard to it. I do not mean just from factet butmicrowave it I think it need to be as hot as coffee
really like drinking coffee with no tatste
when my son did it it seem to help clear up his face
for me it just seem to make me feel better or have more energy

There may be other causes you're not aware of, such as hormonal shifts, change in the weather or holiday stress; but a few things like these will always be helpful: Drink lots of water; eat lots of green-leafy and colorful veggies and lean protein; eat complex carbs like 5-minute oatmeal, sweet potatoes, whole-grain breads, etc. Cut down on dairy (milk, cheeses, ice cream etc), ALL sugars (sweets, cookies, cake, etc.) and simple carbs like white bread, white potatoes, crackers, white rice; and very spicy foods. That should calm things down, sometimes in a few days. Sometimes a touch of an essential oil such as lavendar, or a botanical healing oil such as almond or emu, topically, can help healing; avoid drying out your skin with over-the-counter acne meds, scrubs, etc. Treat it gently~

I'm experiencing this too Michelle ~ Started breaking out in October and haven't gotten all cleared up yet. I'm thinking that it is a mix of hormones balancing out and toxins clearing out.

The nurse at the derm office (where I'd gone prior to T-Tapping) told me that the gel I was using would bring all the *junk* to the surface, increase the break outs and then clear up.

I'm just thinking that this is a similar process happening from the inside out.

Holding on to that thought anyway![:p]

(can we be happy it keeps us looking young?)

I know for a fact that it's from TT since it lessened in the week I didn't TT, and I was mensturating then. [xx(]

I don't tend to use a lot of acne cleansers to start with, just a Dead Sea Mud soap I have. :) I have problems with Benzoyl Peroxide, so I don't use it. I do use an oatmeal mask on ocassion. I don't believe in harsh cleansers, they don't tend to work on me, and they are too harsh.

Thanks!

OIl Of Oregano!!!!!!

I had a huge "knot" come up right at the end of my nose of all places!! The kind that get red and shiney. I guess it fit the season though....LOL....but not funny :)

I put oil of oregano on it twice and now you can't even see it!!

Is there a lapse of time between your workout and shower? Years ago, I used to shower when I got home from aerobics. My dermatologist said to rinse my face after class, and then shower when I got home. Just a thought.

Thanks for your question, and the link being provided about the hot water therapy, I have started adding the hot water over the last two days. I have minimal breakouts so I can't vouch for that benefit yet, what I can say is that it has greatly improved my congested feeling in the morning and that sort of I am still feeling drugged and need to lay in bed for awhile and wake up. I am looking forward to see further benefits to skin clarity and softness.

I am going to share this with my son who does have skin problems.

Thanks for bringing up this topic and I just wanted to share my experince so far and that I think there is something to it.

I love these forums I learn so much that benefits me. Are you trying this Lilith?
