I miscarried back in July and I'm now about 4.5 weeks along. I had a TINY bit of spotting (more of a pinkish discharge, mostly) for a week around the time I would have had AF, but they tested my HCG, and it went from 66 on Friday to 440 (or something) yesterday. I haven't seen any spotting at all for almost 2 days now, and it was very inconsistent and well, spotty. :D
I'm cautiosly optimistic now, and I go in for another hcg count tomorrow just for reassurance. I'll probably be nervous for the next 9 months, but I'm feeling pretty okay about things now. I think I'll take a few more days to rest and then resume tapping (cautiously) over the weekend or Monday, which would be almost 2 weeks off. Maybe this would be a good time to revisit instructionals. :)
Anyway, June 28th is the due date for #3, and though nervous, I'm extremely excited and glad to join you mommies over here again.;)

Okay girls, here's an update. My HCG went from 400-something on Monday to 1301 this morning. So it looks pretty darn good. :) Just saw a tiny bit of pink yesterday but nothing since. Still trying to take it a bit easy until I'm sure this stuff is done with.

Meredith, did you ask the nurse if this is a normal jump in numbers? Just curious, I had spotting in the very beginning with my 1st set of twins.
I think you're wise for taking it easy. Do you incorporate any of the stretching moves(pbs, ttt ect.) while you're waiting for the clear?
I'm so happy for you:D

I have tried to keep up with PBS when I brush. I didn't ask the nurse about those jumps in numbers, since I figured she'd have said something if she were supicious. Since I've had spotting though, I can go in for an ultrasound at 6 weeks to look for heart tones and the insurance will cover it. I have wondered about the twins thing. There were some twins a couple generations back, and I remembered today that my cousin (well, my cousin's wife) had twins. My u/s is November 6th.

Oh yay Meredith! I'm so glad to hear your #s are going up and up.[^][^][^] I'd read your posts about your spotting on the TTC thread and have been thinking about you ever since. (Unfortunately, I haven't had a lot of computer time lately)
Anyway, thanks so much for keeping us updated. Oh! I almost forgot--- Congratulations!!

Meredith,
Wanted to let you know, I spotted with my first pregnancy. Had to scale back on my work out schedule; jogging and strength training. DD is now 16 and is healthy and happy as a 16 year old can be. Next pregnancy was twins, no spotting. Every pregnancy is different. Hope all goes well for you. Curious to hear about your ultrasound. If it's twins, would be happy to share experiences/advice with you. BTW, twins don't skip generations, that's an old wife's tale. Twins show up pretty much when they want to, it's an inherited trait.
Good luck,
Kim

Congrats!
I had spotting with both of my first two pregnancies and all was fine. It went away never to return. I was really careful at the time though.
