Echinacea and grapefruit oil

Does anyone know if I can put a drop of grapefruit oil into a cup of echiacea tea? My family got sick last night - stomach bug or food poisoning, we are not sure which. I am trying to boost my immune system to keep from getting sick, and theirs to help them get better sooner.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

you might do better with just the tea & add some drops of golden seal extract to it. grapefruit oil may be better in water in between, & use the nutrabiotic grapefruit extract instead.

ok, so I am pretty clueless. What is Golden Seal Extract? And what is the difference between grapefruit oil and nutrabiotic grapefruit extract?
