Hi! How is everyone?? I have a question. I am ready to start the MM/GM "diet" and I have not been able to find information on guidelines for protein choices or dairy.
Here are my questions. Do I choose from any leaner meat? I like a lot of different types of meat including red meat. We have our meat processed by a locker and are specific in our request to keep it lean. So, as long as it is lean do I go for it? I quit frying meat about 10 years ago and do not miss it. Any meat I prepare is either grilled, or broiled. Sometimes I do put a roast in the crock pot. Anyway, are there limits on the type of protein or the quantity??
I like to have skim milk with my oatmeal. I like the old fashioned oats so that is good news for me! But I don't think I want to eat it without milk. I have tried soy milk and frankly, I find is gross! So, is milk ok??
About the soup that Teresa suggest: Common sense tells me that she is not talking about chili or creamed pototoes . What kind of soup is she talking about. Broth? Vegetable? Bean?
Here is one little question about carbs. I got a lot of information in the searches but I didn't see anything about WW pasta. I noticed that we can have brown rice and I wondered if the pasta with tomato sauce would be ok. I appreciate any help you can give me! I start tomorrow and hopefully, you will help me refine the GM/MM plan so that I am doing it "right". Gina[
Think about your destination but don't worry if you stray. The most important thing is what you have learned along the way.
