Puffy eyes and water retention, any help? Have been watching what I eat and drink, tried tea bags etc. Does anyone have a quick fix??

Do you take Teresa's alfalfa? How about some HDs or brushing? Or maybe some lemon in your water? Just some ideas

How's your salt intake? My 2 cents: Drink more water and eat less salt.

Try lots of the head rocks from PBS. I find it helps when my chin area gets puffy - maybe it will help puffy eyes too!

I have puffy eyes under my eyes, and of all the reading I've done, I have come to the conclusion it is genetic for me. I do 12 alfalfa a day, REALLY watch my salt intake, do lemon water, drink major amounts of water, etc....

my under eye area gets VERY puffy if I miss one of my thyroid pills. Maybe have your thyroid checked.

I had this happen to me repeatedly. I went to a naturopath. He put me on a 10 day liver cleanse. I felt much better after. Following I started making my own Kombucha Tea. I have been drinking it ever since. There are a lot of Kombucha threads on the Nutrition Forum. You can also check out the groups and websites. Lots of people drink it.

you know, I think I remember from the Nutrition Forum where people were doing Colonix, that their under-eye circles disappeared with doing that cleanse - it's a pretty interesting, funny thread to ready, anyway!

I get them when I eat too much or too late, eat fruit, sweets or salt too often (for me) & don't get to sleep before midnight, & still get up at 6am. Also notice skin oils tend to puff my eyes, so finding better oils & using them during the day rather than at night has improved them.

When I don't do those things, it's a non-issue.

You need the face brushing sequence!

If you own the CRT brushing system just email lauren@t-tapp.com and I would be happy to email the Face Brushing Sequence to you! It's great because it lymphatically pumps the fluid in the face helping SO much with puffy eyes.

Have a great day!

Thanks for all the input. Alfalfa doesn't seem to help, I already use lemon in water, watching my salt and sugar. Mostly puffy above the eye and just slightly dark circles below. I have heard of Parsley and Dandelion tea and herbal stuff you can buy at the health food store. My skin is sensitive so I am hesitant to brush my face. When I do a lot of reading etc my eyes also get puffy. I think there are cosmetic products out there that are available. Does anyone know about those?

antidiuretic herbs are more for kidney function. You're looking at liver function when dealing with eyes. Reconsider CRT 1-2x/day on body & face for lymphatic drainage.
