Okay, now that you know what Commit to Three is all about you are ready to COMMIT to 3 workouts starting Feb. 1, 2006!

How to get ready?

Look at what you have going on this week and pencil in your workouts. Yes, schedule your workouts in just like any other appointments so that you KNOW what days you are going to workout. You don't want Saturday to come around and realize that you haven't gotten any workouts in because of the ol' "I'll do it tomorrow mentality!" Sure, life might get in the way - but you still need a plan in place!

Feb 1 will be here in a few short days, are you ready?? What's your plan??? Why don't you join me in starting with the BASICS - -Instructional #1 and #2 and/or Beg/Rehab! :D:D

Good Morning Ladies!

I'll be riding on "Track 2" starting Wednesday.

I do have some other workouts that were not specifically mentioned (original Intermediate, Maxis, etc.), but since they are total workouts, I suspect I know which category they would fall under.

One last question, though. When we post on the weekly thread, should we only post once for the week, or once for each workout? I swear I am not trying to make things difficult.[:p]

Happy Monday!

This is great! I'm hoping this will give me the push I need. I started T-Tapp a year ago and loved it. Did it for 5 months and finally started to lose some inches, then life just swallowed me up. I thought after the summer I'd start back, here it is already 2006! I dusted off the tapes and started again but have not been consistent. My husband and I both turn 50 next month and I am "hoping" that we can do something fun [:p] this spring! All this to say "Yaaw Hoo!!" Put me down for track 2.

So can we change up, and do any of the ones in track 2?
For example, I am thinking of doing BWO/SATI, but later on, can I change to BR or to any of the other ones in track 2, or do we just need to stay with the first one we start? Does that make since what I am asking?

Hi!!!
Hadn't been on the web much latly and decided to get back on the site again and looked here again on my "ole " site I used to be in!!
Lots has changed !!How are you all????

Yes, Cheryl, Kirsten,Kathy,Jeanne, and Vickie -
I want to join in too!!

I too got burned out by trying to do too much and ended up not wanting to do it anymore so I have decided that Yes it is true,

LESS IS MORE!!!

I mean how many times has Teresa drilled it in my head at the Retreats and on the forums and sweet Margit and her patience with me,I mean"How long does it take??"!I think it is finally sinking in

Soo decided to yes, be consistant but not to overdo and get burned out so I decided I am going to try

Track #1

So does the next week start now this Wednesday?

I am going to do a BWO+BC to jump start my body!!

Thanks all of you for your words of encouragement!!

It is good to be back again!!

Okay, I'm in too.:) Enough lurking on all you Habit Formers!!!:D;)I would like to sign up for Track 2---3 times a week.

I need the "cyber-support" for more "purposeful" T-Tapping----aka REALLY pushing myself to my personal max each time and throughout---FORM, FORM, FORM!!! I can "get through" the workouts just with momentum----it's using and holding the FORM that's the real killer.

I think this is really going to help me. I'm excited to join.

I'm also trying to deal with this whole "Less is More" thing!!![:p][}:)]:)

Today, I did BWO+/HTF/AL/Pretzel Twist/DD.

You don't want any reporting on exercising other than T-Tapp, correct?

Let me know if I'm doing this right and what else I should be doing!

Thanks!
Pina

HugS!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D[:X]

Once apon a time a girl was born as happy as can be. But with time she would look in the mirror and say," Who's that? It can't be me!" For in her minds eye she was strong, healthy, and could do anything. "So you see that girl in the reflecting glass could NOT be me." But at last she know it was true, so she set out on a great quest. With T-Tapp, health food, and a new sence of herself by her side, she traveled the unbeaten path. And with every curve she knew, with all her heart and soul, that one day (maybe soon) she would look in the mirror and say, "I was never lost, but now I'm found. And I'm HAPPY with who I am now and with who I was because if I wasn't that way I wouldn't be where I am today." And with that she keeps on walking with a smile in her heart and an open soul, knowing that when she comes to that mirror she has total faith in what will unfold. ---- The story of my life :D

Kirsten,

Please change me to change to Track 1. Things around here have been so crazy, and just don't have time to do the long workouts right now. I'm hoping that once I start with Track 1 then as time allows, I will go ahead and complete a long w/o. This should bring some consistency to my workouts, and we all know concistency is the payoff.

I've been doing the Instructional #1 and Basic+ for a few weeks now. 3-5 times a week, I'd guess. I had also started walk/running to train for a 5k but discovered that my hips were badly misaligned and caused me severe pain. I have been getting chiropractic treatments and using t-tapp to build cor muscles. I love the way they make me feel stronger. I want to continue to build strength and not allow my body to deginerate. It starts now. I'm 35, have 8 children, the baby is 4 months old. I want to be a fit grandma someday who plays ball, runs, hikes, and canoes with her family. Sure, I'll sit on the porch and rock but just to take a break from playing!
I'm committing to be a Habit Former Track 1 until I get the form down better and then I'll buy more workouts.

Hi everyone. I bought the total system back in 2000 maybe? and used it a few times but didn't really give it or myself a chance to see if it would work for me. It is now 2006 and I am older and hopefully wiser [B)] having had my fill of all the shortcuts only to discover there is no such thing. After much procrastination, I popped in my instructionals 1&2 and started on Tuesday June 27, 2006 and worked out 4 days. My original intent was to go 14 days, but for the time being, I believe I can commit to at least 3 workouts per week - so I'm signing up for habit formers. I have a lofty desire of getting in the best shape I can be in and one day becoming a certified trainer. That would serve multiple purposes: to help others while helping myself, and to finally have convenient access to a certified T-Tapp trainer in NYC where I live. This is my story and why I call myself the comeback kid. Good luck everyone!

Hi T-Tappin' Sisters! I'm so happy to FINALLY be jumping in here with you all! :D Thank you for encouraging me to join HABIT FORMERS again... it's been a few years!!!

Today I've prayerfully committed to "Track One"... plus whatever else I can manage to fit in during the day... working up to the full Beg/Rehab Total Workout. [:I]

I NEED TO DO THIS... DESPERATELY!!! [V]

My GOAL is overwhelming sometimes, but I plan to do a 4-7 day bootcamp of BW+ this week! Then I'd like to work up to the Total Workout twice/week, with BW+ on my off days.

Our whole family has been so "out of it" for the past month (we lost Dad to cancer) and we really, really need some energy, daily accountability and continuing motivation. T-TAPPERS ARE THE BEST!!! :)

Blessings,
Lizzy Joy

Alright, I am ready to commit to Track 1 :D Got a w/o buddy, and DH promised that if she isnt here he will do some W/O with me, which could also mean just getting through as much PBS as he possibly can. When he tucks his butt, and bends his knees he can actually feel it all the way to his toes without even pushing his knees out. I try to encourage him to push knees out, but he just tells me his knee wont be able to handle that. I am just glad he is trying.

Anyway, I am in. Should be able to start my 4 day BC of MORE/MORE Instructionals on Tuesday, kids have a carnival on Monday at their school for a fundrasier. DH is even going to take DD to Viola lessons on Wednesday, so I can do my BC...isnt he awesome ;)

I'm committing to track 1, 3 BWPs a week!

I've T-Tapped off and on for years, but now I'm digging down deep to make the committment to finally make this happen. Love the idea (command?) to schedule workouts each week like any other appointment. Sounds like that's exactly what I've been missing!

I've been posting but didn't realize I was supposed to sign up here first. (I always just look at "active topics" and the sign-up thread must not have been active when I was looking around.)

Anyway, I'm doing track one.

There is a new thread for each week. Weeks go from Wednesday to the following Tuesday. For example, this week's thread is called "Wed, 11/1 - Tues, 11/7 Reporting Thread." Next week's thread will be called "Wed, 11/8 - Tues, 11/14 Reporting Thread."

I would like to commit to track 2. I used to do TTapp workout 3 years ago. I have almost all the videos upto 2004. Now I want to seriously commit to 3 workouts a week. Please register my name and starting Jan1st 2007, I would like to serously do TTapp.
I am going to keep my daily workout routine which is 45 min. cardio per day (5 days a week) and 2 weight training sessions of 30 min. each and add TTapp to workout in the beginning. I am planning on doing Tempo mostly and an occational MaxiMax1 or 2.
Padma.

Welcome Padma. As you've been away from T-Tapp for some time, your best bet is to spend some time with the instructional workouts before moving on to Tempo or any of the Maxi Maxes. Remember that T-Tapp *is* cardio and strength training so no other workouts are necessary. If you choose to continue your other workout schedule and do T-Tapp, you will need to watch carefully for over-training.

Habit Formers in on-going so you can start whenever you like. Why wait, right? I will likely be making some changes to the program effective 2/1 but for now it goes on as described at

Kirsten, Let's try this again! 2006 was a very bad year for me health-wise, one that I'd rather not ever repeat again in my life, but I think we've got most things figured out. Either that or cut out![:0] I've been just taking my SATI and it's been working. I've sort of made a pact with myself to just do SATI until I absolutely know that that it's fine to get tough. I tend to overdo it otherwise. So for a while longer just expect easy stuff from me. I'm thinking, it's been working and I want to make sure I don't backslide. Anyway, I look a heck of a lot better than I did in September! So I'll be a track 1.

I am afraid I was trying to get too much too quickly and I am almost on the verge of losing motivation. I decided just to take my time and speed down a little bit so that I stay motivated and pay more attention to the form. LESS is MORE, this is right and I will go for it.

So, I am back on Track 1 until I really REALLY feel I am ready for a next step.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused by my another switching from one track to the other.:)
