Can I just twist and hold the position for it to count?

Teresa does do that on one of the tapes. I think she pulses as she torques.

I think that move is in T-tapp More Broom. I'd much rather use a broom for that than what it's intended for!;)

Injury to sternum and one rib connected to sternum right at heart level. I don't want to bounce. I but I tried to tuck hard and just hold position and that seemed to feel ok. I just wondered if that would suffice if I were able to do just a few moves so I don't feel like a lump.

les - if i were you, i would not twist, torque or bend for a few days. an injury of that nature is a spreading stain on the body & bruising may not show up for a couple of days after. if you cracked the cartilage, & your abs, though strong, are still in shock, you could find yourself in a position you cannot get out of. Just rest.
