Skin Brushing of Face

I would like to try skin brushing of my face using a soft natural fibre cosmetic face brush. Does anyone know if this is adviseable for people with pigmentation e.g does it aggravate it? What direction should I follow in brushing my face? So far all websites give only instructions for skin brushing body and not face.
