I purchased Meta Treks for myself to use when I walk and do the SATI and I really, really like them.
I was particularly interested when Teresa was talking about them and the fusion that she had in her back and how much they have helped to alleviate her pain.
My husband has had 3 back surgeries and one neck surgery and he is pretty much in constant pain. Does anyone have any experience with the weighted shoes for someone with a problem of this magnitude? I'd love to buy him a pair to see if they would help. Surgeries haven't done it and pain medicine doesn't do it and right now, he's so tight and in so much pain he really can't do much in the way of exercise. I'm hoping that eventually he'll be able to try the PBS at least, but I was wondering about the shoes for him.
By the way, these are not new surgeries. His first was in 1980, then in 1985 and 1992 and then 1998 for his neck. His body is a wreck!
Given name is Deborah, but my friends call me Deb :)
