Metatreks?

Yea--a!!! I got my shoes today and I need some advice on the right size. I normally wear a sixe 8 but sometimes an 8 can run to short and I need the 8 1/2. I pondered over which size to order in this shoe and decided that whichever one I ordered I would probably wish I had ordered the other one. The shoe fits but feels like I have much roominess in the toe part of the shoe. I'm just wondering before I get to attached if I should send them back for the 8s? When I lift my big toe it comes up to the first sewn ridge. They feel comfortable sort of speak, just feels like a lot of room at the head of the shoe, I can wiggle my toes like way up and down and all around and that just feels different to me. I check at a grocery store and had thought that these might be great for me to work in since on my feet all day. Any comments are apprecitated. Yolanda
