Hi there,
Since this is the last week of school, I took my kiddo's out to Fiesta Texas this evening as treat and didn't even THINK about the fact that I was wearing my MetaTreks. Anyway - I set off the metal detector and couldn't figure out why because I NEVER have set it off - EVERY. Anyway - the security guard took my purse, my keys everything and still I was setting it off. Finally I was like - OH - it's the shoes. The security guard looked at me like I'm nuts and I said NO really - it's the shoes - they have weights in them. He looked at me like yea right and I was like REALLY and he was like - I've never heard of weighted shoes and I was like WAVE your wand over my shoes. By this time I had attracted quite a bit of attention and EVERYONE was asking about them. By this time I'm laughing and saying - If you'll just let me in, I'll give you all the web addy!
Too funny but I did manage to get in AND tell everyone about the shoes and the hiking boots to come!
