Sorry that this is sooooo off topic, but I'm at the end of my ropes! A year ago, I finally found pantyhose made for tall, large women at JC Penneys. Because I'm allergic to nylon (but must wear pantyhose because of my job), I've always had trouble finding "non-control-top" pantyhose that is extremely stretchy so that it doesn't hug my skin too closely. I've been happily wearing the comfortable hose from JC Penney during the past year; however, when I went to stock up again before Thanksgiving, I was told that the store had decided to discontinue (to DISCONTINUE!!!) the line -- eeeeek! They still carry the Queen/Tall control-top type, but I am tortured when wearing it. The nylon fabic touching my skin so closely gives me hives, and I feel like an encased sausage.
So, my Tapper friends, I'm hopeful that one of you may know of a supplier of pantyhose that is really stretchy and comes in Queen/Tall without the control-top. Anyone, please!! My only other option is to use a garter belt, but some of my dresses have slits on the side that give people a peak at the top of the hose since my legs are long and the hose only covers about two inches above each knee. When I can get away with it, I do use the garter belt, but I much prefer to use pantyhose.
Any suggestions from my LL friends (or SL ones who are in the know)? Thank you for any help you can give me.
