Okay...being over 50 does have some perks. When I turned 50 I started receiving all kinds of literature from AARP. Aaaaaack!...was my response. Oh no...I'm not that old. Well...I've been resisting that acknowledgement...but now at 57yo I finally joined today. And you know what? It ain't so bad! Heck I saved $110.00 right off the bat.
Got a new quote for AARP discounted auto insurance...$108.00 annual savings. I had already done a lot of auto ins. comparison shopping and this was a huge jump in savings compared to other companies. Applied my membership to my isp...another $2.00 monthly discount. And...I've just begun.
They also have an Alternative Health and Wellness Network providing 5-30% discounts. I'm going to check this out.
Correction: If based on annual savings (which auto insurance amt was)...then I actually saved $134 today...to include the 12 months of savings on my isp!. I can almost get 3 massages for that or 4 bras!
