Hi all - I know we all love tapping, but I though I would post a few other work outs that I have found that I really like. Since most of us do some other form of exercise on off days or in addition to tapping, I thought it might be helpful.

(note, I HIGHLY recommend getting a DVD player for exercise videos. It completely changes the way you do them, makes it easier, quicker, gives you variety etc. so you do them more! and that is half the battle...)

The Total Mix - Quick Body Work Out System is wonderful for people that are short on time. It is 9 different 10 min. programs you can customize each day. Just pick the three you want to to and there they are. Abs, Butt, Arms and Legs are all the focused on.

Remember those early 90' "Abs of Steel, Buns of Steel" Videos? And Tamilee Web in those way too reveling outfits? Well, she is back and has more clothes on this time. Also best in DVD, she has "I Want that Body" with 2 15 min. programs each for Arms, Abs, and Buns. They are very quick and effective if you miss doing light toning with weights. She also has "I Want that Strech". It has 3 different 15 min. stretches and a long 30 min. full body stretching workout. I love doing the 30 min one after tempo - all those isometic contractions need some limbering up!

A lot of people have posted on the Leslie Sansone walking DVDs - also great for a bit of cardio after tapping. The 3 mile is too much for me after tempo, but the 2 mile is perfect.

The 10 Min solution DVD has a good mixture - 5 10 min. workouts on everything from ballet to kickboxing. If you get bored easily, throwing this in to your routine might help!

Karen Voight's videos are very professional, but sometimes a bit to intense (depending on the type of exercise she is doing). But she is very good with form tips to keep you from hurting yourself.

Also - the Living Arts yoga series is worth checking out. It is very basic (compared to going reg. to a class) but a good introduction in a very non-intimidating way.

Ok.....hope this helps someone. I know I am a tape/DVD junkie (can you tell??), always looking for the next thing to spice up my workout.....maybe others are too!
