Brief history...complete thyroidectomy (a slave to Synthroid the rest of my life) and back surgery (3 fusions, 2 decompressions).

Ack, somehow I submitted before completion. Sorry about that.

I originally started Tapping on 19 May 2001. My numbers were as follows: LArm 11, RArm 10.5, Bust 35.5, Upper Ribcage 31, Waist 29.5, Lower Abs 34, Hips 36.5, L thigh 20.5, L above the knee 16, L calf 14, R thigh 21, R above the knee 16, R calf 14, Total inches...289.5, weight. 130.

On 27 May 2001, my numbers were as follows:
L. Arm 11, R Arm 10.5, Bust 35, Upper Ribcage 30.5, Waist 29, Lower Abs 32, Hips 35, L Thigh 20.5, L above the knee 15, L calf 13.5, R thigh 21, R above the knee 15, R calf 14. Total inches lost 7.5, weight 126.

Then came back surgery and my life was basically put on HOLD...no exercise AT ALL.

Finally I was given the go ahead to start exercising once again (exercise defined as WALKING). I didn't take my measurements but my weight was up to 135 and my clothes were VERY tight.

I've been doing DD and TT2T three times per week for about 3 months.

As of yesterday, these are my new numbers:
L. Arm 10, R. Arm 10, Bust 34, Upper Ribcage 29.5, Waist 27, Lower Abs 29, Hips 33, L thigh 19.5, L above the knee, 14.5, L calf 13, R thigh 19.5, R above the knee 14.5, R calf 13. Total inches: 266.50. Weight 15.5.

To compare numbers...
19 May 01...289.5 inches, 130 lbs.
24 June 02...266.5 inches, 115.5 lbs.

Inches lost...23
Lbs. lost...114.5

Mind you, after having my thyroid removed, my oncologist advised me I would have to live with weight gain. And, after back surgery...I was told I have to rely on 'walking' as my only form of exercise. I've been following a nutrition program that includes protein and complex carbs with each meal and devoting time to TTapping...that's it.

Soooooo, if TTapp can work for me, it can work for ANYONE!!!!

Blessings to all...

Oops...that should read, lbs. lost '14.5', NOT 114.5.
