I've been trying to branch out lately and try some more brands and styles and have come across a couple of brands.
J. Harris has some wonderful fitting pants for short torsos. Cache which seems to be a chain that at least spans between Houston and North Carolina also has some GREAT fitting pants.
I understand from a friend that there is a brand (maybe Tracs) at Tootsies in Houston. That is a more expensive store but one or two pair of slacks that fit well can sure go a long way.
Also, Lani told me about Lerner jeans when she was in Houston 18 months ago. I FINALLY found a Lerner store and tried some on. YES! I even both some black demin just because if fit so darn well. I did find their length estimates to run conservative. I'm about 5'7 1/2" but had to go to tall which supposedly targets 5'9" plus.
I've also been fairly pleased with the fits of Express pants.
Just passing these tidbits along as finding decent short torso clothes in the typical department store is challenging.
