Hey there! I'm copying this post here from my posts on the 2N2 and Habit Formers, because I wanted to make sure the Stephanie, Jeni, Meredith, and my other preggy mama friends on here would know how I was doing.

Whew! What a relif to know that I was not in danger of delivering an infant not even into the 3rd trimester!

How is eveyone else doing? Updates, please!!

Hugs,

Ginger

Hey, friends!!!!! I'm here!!!!!! This is honestly the first chance that I've had to be on the 'puter; I was at the doctor's office all day, (literally, from 9 am to 3 pm!), company stopped 10 minutes after getting home, and between supper, baths, bedtime stories, and doing the stinkin' dishes (oh, my kingdom for a dishwasher!!!!!!!)------there is where my day went!

This post will be kind of generic, as I want to post it both on 2N2 and Habit Formers. I can't possibly have Carol mad at me----for just a bitty thing, she can be NASTY!!!!!!!!! ***big grin*****

Thanks to all for the prayers for baby and I------I think that we're going to be just fine! Well, at any rate, the visit went really well.

I'm to continue the current meds (Brethine and Vistaril for the drug knowledgable!) until I'm 37 weeks, at least. I also get to be seen every 2 weeks from here on out as well. More water (yeesh!!!!! I'm swimming already!), no sex, (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), and I need to start exercising again. Hooray!

He was pleased that the contractions aren't as severe, and even though I'm still having them throughout the day, they aren't constant.

I passed the blood sugar test by the hair of my chinny chinny chin! In fact, had I been in school, it would have been a D-. he he he At least I passed and I don't have to poke my finger to test 4 times a day! But, because the numbers were so close, I do have to monitor what I eat. Closely. Not as strict as if I were positively dibetic, but close nonetheless. And, he will retest in 2-3 weeks.

So, the more exercise is to help with the close call with gestational diabetes, and I have to really temper that with water logging (okay, drinking!) and resting time on the couch. I'm to sit when I have a contraction, push the fluids, and rest.

Pretty much what we were hoping for. Hooray!!!!!!!!!!

And, no bed rest, at least not yet. He said that he wouldn't rule it out in the future, especially if I start dialating more. Since I'm not even 1 cm dialated, he said no. Probably knew that it would make me nuts!! Of course, I will do whatever it takes for my child to get here safely, but still. I'd have to beg hubby for a laptop so I could get my t-tapp hit from here!

Thank you all for the prayers, I was thinking of many of you today, as I was waiting at the office. Just knowing that so many of you were praying for me really eased my mind.

Thank you, friends!!

Hugs and Love for all!
