Gallbladder

Oh my goodness... last night I became so violently ill,(and so quickly), I thought that I would pass out from the pain. I had this incredibly sharp pain in my right upper quadrant,(right under my rib), that shot all the way between my shoulder blades. That horrible pain lasted about 1 1/2 hours and then I had tolerable pain until 12:30 today. As some of you know, my blood work came back a few weeks ago with elevated liver enzymes..I am going to guess that this is attributed to my gallbladder. Any body had similar experiences? Zipporah, I think this happened to you didn't it, does it sound like a gallbladder "attack". Thanks for any input ...I will contact my doctor tomorrow and hopefully can get some diagnostics done. I DO NOT even want to go throught that experience again<img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle>
